New classes begin in August!
Participants should arrive ten minutes in advance in order to dress, then stretch with the instructor.
The SCFC offers classes for three different age groups:
Youth/Kids — ages 8-13, available at the St. Henry Community Center
Young Adult — ages 14-29, available at the SHCC
Adult — age 25+, available at the SHCC
Starting in August 2010, classes for all ages will be available through Fort Wayne Community School Neighborhood Connection. See their website for more information!
No previous fencing experience needed, all fencing equipment provided. After the fourth class session, class participants who have joined the club are expected to remain until 8 p.m. in order to work with each other and more experienced members. SCFC members are also expected to purchase a “starter set” by the end of their first full trimester (four-month period), please speak to the club president if you need to make arrangements to use club equipment for a longer period of time.
