Why become a member to take a class?

We strongly encourage all interested participants to sign up with the club, but we do not require it. If you do become a member, you get to come to practice two nights a week and take classes for less! You also get a club patch for your fencing uniform for free. Emergency use of equipment from the armory is available on a limited basis. The classes are tools to help you improve, but remember that you really learn to fence by fencing as much as possible, so sign up now!

What else should I know about classes?

Classes must have a minimum of four participants to proceed; the first class will be held regardless of preregistrations and may be cancelled after the first session if there are not enough students to continue as scheduled. Participants should make every effort to attend each class session and take part in the activities, please inform the Instructor if you will not be able to attend on a particular evening. See class descriptions for more details, let us know if you have any additional questions!
