The club now has two levels of membership: Regular and competition
SCFC Regular Fencer
$60 per trimester (= $15.00/mo)
$165 for season. (3 trimesters, $15 discount)
- Invited to practice on Tuesday and/or Thursday.
- Limited use of club equipment, discretion of instructor or Floor Leader.
- Required to purchase all standard (non-electric) gear by end of 1st trimester. Must own necessary electric gear by end of 2nd full trimester. Can speak to Armorer or President if alternate arrangements need to be made.
- Chance to apply for partial or total reimbursements related to fencing continuing education, such as coaching, refereeing, etc.
- One free fencing patch per season.
- Receive 50% off cost of classes.
SCFC Competition Fencer
$90 per trimester (= $22.50/mo) + USFA dues
Competition Fencing not available in summer.
$210 for season. ($30 discount for 2 Competition trimesters and 1 Regular)
- Participants treated like members of any athletic team sport, attendance required.
- Must come to practice on Monday and at least one other practice per week. Expected to notify coach if unable to attend.
- Required to join USFA. Must attend all local tournaments and at least 4 out-of-town competitions during fencing season.
- Limited use of club equipment, discretion of instructor or floor leader.
- Required to purchase all standard (non-electric) gear by end of 1st trimester. Must own necessary electric gear by end of 2nd full trimester. Can speak to Armorer or President if alternate arrangements need to be made.
- Option to order through the SCFC and receive club discount.
- 15% discount on Armory repairs, first priority.
- Chance to apply for partial or total reimbursements related to fencing continuing education, such as coaching, refereeing, etc.
- One free SCFC T-shirt and fencing patch per season.
- Receive 50% off cost of classes.
